SOS Archive

The SOS Archive section preserves historical records that are no longer actively maintained but remain available for public reference. These materials provide transparency and historical context for past activities, decisions, and publications.

The Archive includes the following sections:

Legislation
• Voter Statistics Data
• Election Results
• Rulemaking
• Election Handbook
• Maps
• Public Health Orders
• Executive Orders
• Other

Content in this section is maintained in accordance with federal accessibility requirements. Under the ADA Title II Web Accessibility Rule, effective April 2027, certain content may qualify as archived and is not required to be fully remediated for accessibility if it meets specific criteria.

As stated in the regulation, archived content is defined as:

“Web content that is retained for reference, research, or recordkeeping purposes, is not altered or updated after it is archived, and is not needed to access or participate in current services, programs, or activities.”

Documents in this Archive meet the exemption criteria because they were published prior to April 2027, are no longer actively updated, and are provided for historical reference only. If you need assistance accessing any archived material, please contact us for support.
