All candidates or campaign committees for a public school board in districts with enrollments of 12,000 students, or candidates or campaign committees for community college boards, are required to report contributions and expenditures twice in an election cycle.

The five school districts that must have an enrollment of 12,000 or more students are: Albuquerque, Gadsden, Las Cruces, Rio Rancho and Santa Fe.
